good luck in the marathon. you'll be fine. i recommend taking sugar cubes to eat around mile 18 when you start feeling like you want to fall over and die.

You will do just great! To coin a phrase, JUST DO IT!

We will be there to cheer you on to victory! Even last place is victory for the first timer! How ever, your min-marathon puts you in the top 1/3. We know you can do it! You have 8 more days to store up the energy. Your source of inner strength will carry you over the hills to the top!
